About Us

Zel Iscel – Owner/Disability Specialist

Inclusive World’s Disability Specialist is Zel Iscel. Being a woman who was born blind whom migrated to Australia when a child, Zel has firsthand experience of diversity from the perspectives of gender, disability and ethnicity. She also has an amazing sense of humour and business and life experience that enables her to lead a team that quickly cuts throu issues and identifies positive strategies to suit each environment.

Zel completed her degree in Politics and Government at Edith Cowan University and has been an active advocate for people with disability since 1995.

Zel’s previous roles have included:

  • Senior Policy Officer at the National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA),
  • Producer/presenter of ‘EthnicAbility’, a radio program on disability and ethnicity produced and presented by the Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre (EDAC) in Western Australia
  • Consultant at Enable Development, a new social enterprise which consists mainly of people with disabilities who are specialists in the field of Disability Inclusive Development (DID).

Zel is currently a director for Rights International Australia, Chair of Blind Citizens WA and on the Board of DADAA WA, an arts organisation for people with disability.

When not working, Zel loves to travel and spend valuable time with her family and friends.
